Our Facilities

We have two fully equipped surgeries. The ground floor consists of a large comfortable waiting area with current reading material and refreshments provided. The downstairs surgery is easily accessible for patients who have mobility problems or require wheelchair access. The first floor consists of a further surgery, a central sterilisation area, bathroom and staffroom.

Payments

We offer transparent pricing, and all prices are clearly displayed throughout the practice. Payment is on a “fee-per-item” basis and is due on completion of each item. For large treatment plans, orthodontics, sedation, implants and cosmetic dental procedures 50% of the fee is payable prior to commencing treatment. We accept Credit/Debit cards and cash payments.

Acceptance

Adult patients are accepted on both an independent “NHS-level” basis and privately. We do not charge a registration fee.

Children 0-18 years old (and still in full time education) are provided with “NHS-level” treatment free of charge.

Confidentiality

We operate a very strict confidentiality policy surrounding patient records and information. All staff are trained in confidentiality and third party access to records is only granted at the express wish of the patient.

Safety

We take all necessary precautions to safeguard both patients and staff. We have an infection control policy and follow all recommended guidelines with regard to the sterilisation of instruments and the use of disposable items. Patient medical histories are checked at each visit.

Missed Appointments

We do ask that you contact us to cancel your appointments if you cannot attend with at least 24 hours notice. For specialist services (implants, sedation) this may be extended to 48 hours otherwise a missed appointment fee will charged.

Complaints

We take complaints very seriously and try to ensure that all our patients are pleased with their experience of our service. When patients raise concerns, they are dealt with courteously and promptly so that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible. We learn from every mistake that we make and we respond to customer concerns in a caring and sensitive way. A comments box is always available in the waiting area, and an appointment with the practice manager is available on request to discuss any concerns you may have.
